IAIN Kediri Newsroom – Ahmad Nala Najah Bilhaq, mahasiswa Program Studi Sosiologi Agama IAIN Kediri, menyabet juara II Ghina Araby pada ajang Semarak Apresiasi Khazanah Arab (SAHARA) Tahun 2021. Kegiatan SAHARA 2021 ini dilaksanakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung pada 23-31 Juli 2021 secara daring.
Pada serangkaian acara SAHARA 2021, Nala mengikuti kategori lomba Ghina Araby Tingkat Nasional untuk kategori umum dengan membawakan lagu berjudul “Salam mim baid”. Nala menuturkan bahwa untuk partisipasi di ajang SAHARA 2021 ini ia harus menyiapkan lagu, mengaransemen, serta melakukan berbagai improvisasi. Setelah dianggap sempurna, kemudian ia mengirimkan hasil karyanya (videonya) kepada panitia secara daring.
Berdasarkan penilaian pada vokal, artikulasi, intonasi dan penghayatan, etika bernyanyi, serta teknik pengambilan video, Nala secara resmi dinyatakan sebagai peraih Juara II, mengungguli peserta dari Universitas Sumatera Utara yang meraih juara III. Sementara itu, juara I diperoleh peserta dari SMA Modern Al-Rifa’ie.
Saat dikonfirmasi, Nala menyatakan bahwa ia memang sudah terjun ke dunia tarik suara semenjak masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar dengan mengikuti lomba MTQ hingga tingkat provinsi. Ia mulai mempelajari lagu gambus arab saat duduk di bangku tsanawiyah. Ia pun sering tampil di atas panggung. Pada raihan sebelumnya, ia menjuarai lomba Pop Solo dengan menduduki peringkat ketiga di tingkat Provinsi Jawa Timur.
Capaian Nala mendapat banyak apresiasi, salah satunya dari Kepala Prodi Sosiologi Agama, Taufik Alamin. “Pertama saya mengucapkan selamat kepada saudara Nala Najah atas prestasinya sebagai juara ke-2 di lomba Ghina Araby yang dilaksanakan oleh UIN Bandung. Semoga dengan prestasi ini memberikan manfaat dan barokah bagi Nala dalam menuntut ilmu dan mengembangkan potensinya,” ungkap Taufik. “Selanjutnya saya berharap ke depan potensi ini dapat dikembangkan lebih jauh kepada para mahasiswa lainnya,” imbuhnya.

State Islamic Institute of Kediri Newsroom – Ahmad Nala Najah Bilhaq, the student of Sociology of Religion Study Program of The State Islamic Institute of Kediri, gained the second champion on Ghina Araby (Arabic Singing Competition) in Semarak Apresiasi Khazanah Arab (SAHARA) Year 2021. The event was held online by the Student Association of Arabic Language Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teaching and Education of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung on 23-31 July 2021.
In the series of events, Nala joined the general category of Ghina Araby at the national level by presenting a song entitled “Salam mim baid”. Nala said that to participate in the event he must prepare the song, arrangement, and do various improvisation. As all were regarded perfect, he then sent his work (video) to the committee through an online platform.
Based on the judgment on vocal, articulation, intonation and internalization, singing ethics, as well as video shooting techniques, Nala was officially declared as the second winner, outperforming the participants from Universitas Sumatera Utara who was the third winner. Meanwhile, the first winner was the student from Modern Senior High School Al-Rifa’ie.
When confirmed, Nala stated that he had already been performing since he was in elementary school by joining MTQ competition at the province level. He started learning Arabic songs when he was at the junior high school level. He frequently performed on the stage as well. In the previous achievement, he won the pop solo competition by taking over third place at the level of East Java Province.
Nala’s achievement got many appreciations, one of them was from The Head of Sociology of Religion Study Program, Taufik Alamin. “Firstly I congratulated Nala Najah for the achievement as the second winner in Ghina Araby competition held by UIN Bandung. I hope that the achievement will be of advantage for Nala in pursuing the knowledge and to improve his ability,” said Taufik. “I also expect that in the future the students who have similar abilities can gain other achievements,” added him.
