IAIN Kediri Newsroom – IAIN Kediri melakukan penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dengan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Kerjasama ini dilakukan dalam rangka akselerasi peningkatan kualitas Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi.
Wakil Rektor III IAIN Kediri, Wahidul Anam, mengatakan di era globalisasi dengan iklim kompetisi yang tinggi, kolaborasi dan kerjasama merupakan hal yang perlu dilakukan. Dalam hal ini, amanat perguruan tinggi dalam menjalankan tridarmanya yaitu pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
“Kami melihat UIN Sunan Gunung Djati yang perkembangannya cukup pesat terutama di bidang penelitian di jurnal internasional bereputasi, baik yang dilakukan dosen maupun mahasiswa, sangat pesat. IAIN Kediri dengan segala kearifan lokalnya siap berkolaborasi. Baik dalam bentuk pelatihan peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal hingga kolaborasi menulis karya ilmiah,” jelasnya, Selasa, (23/3) di Aula Rektorat UIN Bandung.
Ia menambahkan pihaknya saat ini sudah mendirikan International Office and Partnership (IOP) sebagai lembaga yang akan mendorong lebih banyak kerjasama dalam dan luar negeri baik dengan perguruan tinggi maupun lembaga terkait. Untuk itu, secara perlahan proses pengelolaan, optimalisasi sumber daya, pemberdayaan hingga evaluasi terus dilakukan.
Wakil Rektor IV UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Ulfiah, menuturkan merasa terhormat dan bangga mendapat kunjungan dan diskusi bersama terkait kerjasama luar negeri. Secara khusus, ia sangat mengapresiasi pembentukan IOP sebagai pioner kebangkitan kerjasama luar negeri di kampus IAIN Kediri.
“Saya atas nama pimpinan mengucapkan selamat datang kepada rombongan Bidang Kerjasama dan Internasional Office untuk sama-sama belajar dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Islam, sehingga keberadaan UIN dan IAIN diharapkan dapat menjadi garda terdepan dalam melakukan internasionalisasi Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN),” tegasnya.
Lebih lanjut, ia menuturkan kedatangan rombongan IAIN Kediri bisa dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh PTKIN untuk mendorong realisasi visi integrasi keilmuan di tubuh PTKIN. Sumber daya manusia sebagai penguatan legitamasi kekuatan peningkatan kuantitas dan kualitas untuk kemajuan kampus UIN, IAIN, STAIN di lingkungan PTKIN memang perlu dilakukan.
“Hal ini dinilai penting karena gerak organisasi kita bukanlah organisasi superman, tapi super team yang melakukan kerja bareng. Modal ini harus kita rawat dalam melakukan go internasional, sesuai visi dan misi kampus tercita,” paparnya.
Acara kunjungan IAIN Kediri Bidang Kerjasama dan Internasional Office ini dihadiri Wakil Rektor I, Rosihon Anwar, Wakil Rektor III, Ah. Fathonih, Kepala Biro Kepala Biro Administrasi Umum, Perencanaan, dan Keuangan (AUPK), Akhmad Lutfi, para Wakil Dekan III di lingkungan UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Sementara rombongan IAIN Kediri selain dihadiri Wakil Rektor III IAIN Kediri, Wahidul Anam , juga Direktur IOP IAIN Kediri, Direktur IOP IAIN Kediri, Fathor Rasyid, Sekretaris IOP, Maufur dan sejumlah staf.
Sebagai Informasi, sebelum melakukan kunjungan ke UIN Sunan Gunung Djadi Bandung pada Selasa, (22/3) rombongan IAIN Kediri telah melakukan diskusi dan penandatanganan MoU dengan UIN Sunan Kalijaga. Kemudian, kunjungan dilanjutkan ke Fakultas Ilmu Budaya UGM dan diterima langsung oleh Dosen Senior, Prof. Sangidu, untuk menjajaki kerjasama pengiriman dosen dan mahasiswa ke Timur Tengah.

The Vice-Rector III of State Islamic Institute of Kediri, Wahidul Anam, stated that in the globalization era with high competition, collaboration and cooperation are needed in terms of the order of higher education in implementing the Three Pillars of Higher education namely education, research, and outreach program.
“We notice that the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati develops quite rapidly particularly in the research area in reputable international journals, either done by the lecturers or the students. State Islamic Institute of Kediri with all of the local wisdoms is ready to collaborate, either in the form of quality improvement in journal management or scientific writing collaboration,” he stated, on Tuesday (23/3) in the rectorate hall of the State Islamic University of Bandung.
He added that the institution had already established International Office and Partnership (IOP) as a department that would encourage more cooperation in and out of country either with higher educations or relevant institutions. Therefore, the management process, resources optimization, empowerment, and evaluation would be done gradually.
The Vice-Rector IV of the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Ulfiah, was honoured and proud to get a visitation and discussion related to abroad cooperation. In particular, she appreciated the establishment of IOP as the pioneer in abroad cooperation in the State Islamic Institute of Kediri.
“I, representing the heads of the university, welcome you all, the staffs from Cooperation Section and International Office, to learn together to enhance the quality of Islamic education, so the presence of State Islamic University and State Islamic Institution could be the front liners in internationalizing the Islamic Higher Education,” she highlighted.
Furthermore, she expressed that the presence from the State Islamic Institution of Kediri could be used optimally by the State Islamic Higher Education to encourage the realization of integrated scientific vision in the body of State Islamic Higher Education. Human resources as the legitimation strength and quality and quantity improvement for the college advancement such as State Islamic University, State Islamic Institution, and State Islamic College in the State Islamic Higher Education environment are truly needed.
“This is considered important for our organization movement because organization is not a superman, but a super team that does thing together. This is what we need to take care of to go internationally, according to our beloved college vision and mission,” she stated.
The visit from the Cooperation Section and International Office of the State Islamic Institute of Kediri was welcomed by the Vice-Rector I, Rosihon Anwar, Vice-Rector III, Ah. Fathonih, The Head of General Administration, Planning, and Financial Bureau, Akhmad Lutfi, and the Vice-Deans III in the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Meanwhile, those who were from State Islamic Institute of Kediri, in addition to the Vice-Rector III of the State Islamic Institute of Kediri, Wahidul Anam, were the Director of IOP of the State Islamic Institution of Kediri, Fathor Rasyid, the Secretary of IOP, Maufur and some staffs.
As an information, before visiting the State Islamic University of Sunan Gunung Djadi Bandung on Tuesday, (22/3) the staffs from the State Islamic Institution of Kediri had discussed and signed an MoU with the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga. The visit was continued to the Faculty of Cultural Studies of UGM and was directly welcomed by the senior lecturer, Prof. Sangidu, to explore the cooperation of lecturer and student exchange to the Middle East.
