IAIN Kediri Newsroom – Kasubdit Sarana, Prasarana dan Kemahasiswaan, Direktorat Pendidikan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) Ditjen Pendidikan Islam, Kementerian Agama, Ruchman Basori memantau langsung pelaksanaan UM-PTKIN (Ujian Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri) SSE (Sistem Seleksi Elektronik) di IAIN Kediri, Senin (24/05/2021) pagi.
Ruchman menyampaikan, PTKI memiliki beberapa nilai tawar lebih dibandingkan dengan PTU (Perguruan Tinggi Umum).
“Apa yang dipelajari di Perguruan Tinggi Umum juga akan dipelajari di PTKI. Karena, PTKI memiliki harapan mengkombinasikan keduanya, keilmuan dalam bidang sains, dengan keilmuan Islam,” terang Ruchman di Laboratorium Lantai Dua Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data (TIPD) IAIN Kediri, Senin (24/05/2021).
“Dengan belajar di PTKI akan mengintegrasikan ilmu-ilmu yang terkesan dikotomis. PTKI berkomitmen mencetak para professional, ahli, dengan pemahaman Islam yang moderat dan wasathiyah,” lanjutnya.
Sebagai informasi, UM-PTKIN berlangsung serentak secara nasional pada Senin (24/05/2021), sampai dengan Kamis (27/05/2021), di 59 lokasi seluruh Indonesia. Untuk, penyelenggaraan UM-PTKIN di IAIN Kediri dibuka langsung oleh Rektor IAIN Kediri Nur Chamid, pada Senin (24/05/2021) pagi.
Wakil Rektor I IAIN Kediri, Ahmad Subakir, meyebutkan ada sekitar 147.400 calon mahasiswa yang akan bersaing dalam UM-PTKIN, untuk memperebutkan 47.461 kursi yang tersedia. “Untuk Total pendaftar yang mengikuti seleksi elektronik di IAIN Kediri, berjumlah 1.982 orang. Itu dari total pendaftar 4.765 orang, dengan rincian pilihan I sebanyak 1.118 orang, pilihan II sebanyak 1.577 orang, dan pilihan III sebanyak 2.070 orang,” ungkap Wakil Rektor I IAIN Kediri, Senin (24/05/2021).
Turut Hadir dalam acara pembukaan UM-PTKIN di IAIN Kediri, Wakil Rektor III, Wahidul Anam, Kepala Biro AUAK Achmad Heru Achadi Heri, serta beberapa pejabat di lingkungan IAIN Kediri.

State Islamic Institute of Kediri Newsroom – Head of Facilities, Infrastructure, and Student Affairs Subdirectorate of Islamic Higher Education Directorate, Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ruchman Basori, directly monitored the implementation of Islamic State Higher Education Entrance Examination (Ujian Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri or UM-PTKIN) by electronic selection system at the State Islamic Institute of Kediri, on Monday morning (24/05/2021).
Ruchman stated that Islamic Higher Education offers more values than public higher education.
“What is learned in public higher education will also be learned in Islamic higher education because Islamic higher education expects to combine both, the scientific knowledge and Islamic knowledge,” explained Ruchman on the Second Floor Laboratory of Information and Technology and Data Base (Teknologi Informasi dan Pangkalan Data or TIPD) of State Islamic Institute of Kediri, on Monday (24/05/2021).
“By studying in Islamic higher education, we can integrate the knowledge that seems dichotomic. Islamic higher education commits to produce professional, skilled graduates with moderate Islamic understanding,” he added.
For information, Islamic State Higher Education Entrance Examination will be done simultaneously on Monday (24/05/2021) to Thursday (27/05/2021) in 59 locations in all over Indonesia. Therefore, the implementation of Islamic State Higher Education Entrance Examination in the State Islamic Institute of Kediri was directly opened by the Rector of State Islamic Institute of Kediri Nur Chamid on Monday morning (24/05/2021).
Vice Rector I of State Islamic Institute of Kediri Ahmad Subakir mentioned that there were 147,400 prospective students that would compete in Islamic State Higher Education Entrance Examination to gain the 47,461 available seats. “The total registrars that joined the electronic selection system in the State Islamic Institute of Kediri was 1,982 people. Those were from the total registrars of 4,765 people, with details those who chose first option were 1,118 people, second option were 1,577 people, and third option were 2,070 people,” said the Vice Rector I of State Islamic Institute of Kediri, on Monday (24/05/2021).
Those who also attended the opening of Islamic State Higher Education Entrance Examination in the State Islamic Institute of Kediri were Vice Rector III, Wahidul Anam, Head of General Administration, Academic, and Student Affairs Bureau Achmad Heru Achadi Heri, as well as some officers in the State Islamic Institute of Kediri.
