IAIN Kediri Newsroom – Musibah banjir dan tanah longsor yang terjadi di beberapa desa di Kabupaten Nganjuk pada pertengahan bulan Februari 2021 lalu mengakibatkan banyak korban. Sejumlah orang tewas dan luka-luka serta banyak rumah yang rusak akibat longsor. Para warga kemudian diungsikan ke beberapa fasilitas umum yang lebih aman.

Didorong oleh rasa spontanitas dan simpati, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LP2M) IAIN Kediri menggalang donasi untuk warga Nganjuk yang terdampak longsor dan banjir. 

Donasi yang terkumpul disalurkan dalam bentuk bahan makanan pokok dan sejumlah uang tunai pada Sabtu (20/3/2021) lalu di Pendopo Kecamatan Ngetos Kabupaten Nganjuk. Penerimaan bantuan diwakili oleh Camat Ngetos, Bambang Hariyanto, yang kemudian menyampaikan rasa terima kasih kepada LP2M IAIN Kediri. “Sebelumnya kami menyampaikan terima kasih atas atensi, bantuan, pemikiran, doa, dan semua yang bisa diberikan kepada warga kami. Saya juga menyampaikan terima kasih atas rawuh panjenengan semuanya,” ungkap Bambang Hariyanto.

Bambang Hariyanto juga menuturkan kondisi terkini para warga terdampak. Para warga tidak diperbolehkan untuk kembali tinggal di wilayah terdampak. Saat ini mereka diberikan uang sewa rumah untuk tinggal di tempat lain. Nantinya akan dibangun rumah baru untuk relokasi sejumlah 148 unit untuk 57 KK.

Ketua LP2M, Muhamad Yasin, didampingi oleh Kepala Pusat Pengabdian Masyarakat pada LP2M, Achmad Munif, berharap bahwa bantuan yang diberikan dapat bermanfaat bagi warga terdampak. “Demikian juga panjenengan dan seluruh pejabat, pemerintah, muspika di sini dalam program pemulihan keadaan masyarakat yang terkena dampak musibah diberikan sehat juga kemampuan, semangat, istiqomah sehingga bisa memulihkan keadaan masyarakat lebih baik lagi dari keadaan kemarin,” ucap Muhamad Yasin.

The flood and landslide disaster that happened in some villages in Nganjuk Regency in the middle of February 2021 caused many victims. A number of people died and were injured and many houses were destroyed because of the landslide. The people were then evacuated to safer public facilities. 

Encouraged by spontaneity and sympathy, Research and Outreach Department (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat hence LP2M) of State Islamic Institute of Kediri raised donations to the affected people who were affected by landslides and flood in Nganjuk.

The collected donations were tailored in the form of staple food and some cash on Saturday (20/3/2021) at the pendhapa of Ngetos Subdistrict of Nganjuk Regency. The donation acceptance was represented by the Head of Ngetos Subdistrict, Bambang Heriyanto, who delivered gratitude to the LP2M of the State Islamic Institute of Kediri. “We thank you all for the attention, aids, thoughts, prayers, and all that are delivered to our people. I also thank you all for your presence,” said Bambang Hariyanto.

Bambang Hariyanto also informed the current condition of the affected people. All people were not allowed to come back to stay in the affected areas. At the moment they were given rent payment to stay in the other places. Later on new houses would be built for relocation as many as 148 units for 57 households. 

The Head of LP2M, Muhamad Yasin, accompanied by the head of Outreach Center of LP2M, Achmad Munif, hoped that the aid given would be beneficial to the affected people. “As for you and all the officials, governments, and councils here are given ability, spirit, consistency in the condition recovery of the affected people so they would recover better than before,” stated Muhamad Yasin.
